The R&D Department, to which designers and pattern makers belong, is a group of experts who actually commercialize the above brand message. In this position, we are looking for a patterner in the men's area in order to further evolve our clothing manufacturing.

Organization Overview
The R&D Department, to which you will be assigned, is a group of experts in commercializing the brand message "YOUR FREEDOM". Designers and pattern makers from all departments, including men's, women's, kids', and merchandise, work hard every day to develop products to deliver fashion that all people can enjoy to the world.
After joining the company in this position, you will join the Pattern Designer Team in the R&D Department. This team includes pattern makers from all areas including women's, men's, and kids' fashion, and you will be able to grow while learning a variety of skills and perspectives.

Job Description
Men's pattern work, marking and grading
Outerwear, bottoms, shirts, cut-and-sew, innerwear, loungewear, etc.
We will consider your specialty.

You will be in charge of the entire process from product planning, pattern/specification creation, communication with client factories, sample confirmation, and product launch in cooperation with the MD and Marketing departments.
You will be in charge of all aspects of product planning, including pattern specification creation, communication with client factories, sample confirmation, and product launch in cooperation with the merchandising and marketing departments.
You will be responsible for proposing attractive product specifications and fits for the GU store sales floor.
You will collaborate with designers in the MD, Production, and R&D departments and communicate directly with suppliers (factories) to develop products with a high degree of perfection.

Required Knowledge/Abilities/Experience
At least 3 years of experience in men's apparel pattern making
Experience with CAD for apparel
Ability to collect market and media information and apply it to pattern work

Desirable knowledge/ability/experience
At least 2 years of grading experience
Language skills are not required, but we welcome applicants who are willing to learn English beyond daily English conversation.

We may ask you to submit your past design drawings and works during the selection process.

Temporary employee (with a probationary period of 3 months)
(After the second year, if performance and evaluations meet the criteria for appointment as a regular employee, the employee will be appointed as a regular employee.)

There is no upper limit to the number of contract renewals (total period or number of renewals).

■Annual salary
Annual salary range: 4.11-7.84 million yen (monthly salary: 270,000-490,000 yen)
Commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (*All in accordance with our company's regulations)
Bonuses: Semiannual bonus twice a year, year-end bonus (whether or not to be paid and the amount will be decided according to the company's performance and personnel evaluation)
Promotion: Twice a year (determined according to personnel evaluation)
Not limited to the above, but will be determined in accordance with our company's regulations based on annual salary and experience in previous jobs.

8 hours between 7:00-18:00 with 1 hour break

Flexible hours ... 6:00-9:00 and 14:00-20:00 with overtime

Vacations and Vacations
