Background
MADE FOR ALL". There are many kinds of clothes in the world, but UNIQLO has a completely new way of thinking about clothing. Clothes for all people, regardless of nationality, age, occupation, gender, or any other distinctions. We aim to create clothes that people around the world can easily afford and that make them look great as a tool for their own lifestyles.
We are looking for new members to join our R&D Department, a group of experts who actually commercialize our "LifeWear" concept, in order to further evolve the creation of clothes that embody "LifeWear".

Organization Overview
The R&D Department, to which you will be assigned, is a group of experts who actually commercialize the LifeWear concept. It operates at five global locations, centered in Tokyo, and is staffed by all of our designers and pattern makers. We plan products that match people's living environment, styles, and times, and incorporate designs as actual demand into the LifeWear concept. To continuously provide simple, well-thought-out clothes that change people's lives for the better and enrich them. We aim to continue to bring innovation to the world through our clothes.

Job Description
Pattern-making (outerwear, bottoms, shirts, cut-and-sew, sweaters, innerwear, loungewear, dresses) *Experience will be taken into consideration.
Job Descriptions are subject to change within the scope of work related to each department of the headquarters due to departmental transfers and organizational changes.

■Career Path
Upon entering the company, you will be assigned to a team in charge of one of the above items. Depending on your aptitude, there is a possibility that you may be transferred to a different team.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge/Experience/Abilities
At least 6 years of experience in creating specifications and patterns for women's products.
Experience with woven, cut & sewn, knit, etc. is welcome.
Experience working with CAD (patternmaking)
Excellent communication skills in Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent)

Preferred Knowledge/Abilities/Experience
Experience working with CAD (grading), Excel, Illustrator
English proficiency: Daily English conversation level (TOEIC 700 points) or above

English: Daily English conversation level (TOEIC 700 points) or higher *Practical skills test may be required during the selection process.

Employment Status
First year: Temporary employee (with a probationary period of 3 months)
(After the second year, the position is scheduled to be switched to permanent.)
Employment contract may be renewed in consideration of the company's business needs and the individual's performance (no automatic renewal).
There is no upper limit on contract renewal (total period or number of renewals).

■ Annual salary
Annual salary range: 6.24-7.84 million yen (monthly salary: 390,000-490,000 yen)
Commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc. (*All in accordance with our company's regulations)
Bonuses: Semiannual bonus twice a year, year-end bonus (whether or not to be paid and the amount will be decided according to the company's performance and personnel evaluation)
Promotion: Twice a year (determined according to personnel evaluation)
Not limited to the above, but will be determined in accordance with our company's regulations based on annual salary and experience in previous jobs.

Working hours
Either general working hours or flextime system

General working hours
8 hours between 7:00-18:00 with 1 hour break
Flextime system
Standard working hours per day ... 8 hours, break ... 1 hour
Core time ... 9:00-14:00
Flexible hours ... 6:00-9:00 and 14:00-20:00 with overtime

Vacations and Vacations
2 days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays) Annual paid vacations, special congratulatory or condolence leave, childcare or nursing care leave, etc.
In addition to the holidays mentioned in the preceding paragraph, whether national holidays are also considered holidays shall be determined on an individual basis in the employment contract for temporary employees.
