Background of Recruitment
Fast Retailing Group is transforming itself to create a "new industry" based on the concept of "LifeWear" that goes beyond the boundaries of conventional industries. GU, the Fast Retailing Group's second brand, is operated with the goal of empowering people everywhere through the power of fashion. Now that g.u. is gaining acceptance as a brand loved around the world by offering global must-haves with Japanese quality and low prices, we are aiming to accelerate global growth by opening a new store in New York in October 2022 and establishing a new merchandise headquarters in New York in September 2023, which will play a key role in product creation. Under the theme of "GO GLOBAL," GU is aiming to become a full-fledged global fashion brand, and we are looking for someone who can work with us to realize global standard marketing.
■Department Overview
The mission of the Product Marketing Department, to which you will be assigned, is to conduct marketing development simultaneously with product development, create marketing assets that can be used globally, such as concepts, visuals, and content, and develop and execute marketing plans with a storytelling approach, from branding to in-store sales promotion measures. The team is responsible for the overall supervision of creative production in collaboration with internal and external creators to build GU's brand image and customer acquisition strategy, and to develop visuals and contents. (TV commercials, Web sites, in-store sales promotion materials, creation of key visuals and lookbooks, production of editorial content, etc.)
Formulate and execute mid-term branding initiatives to realize GU's brand message "Your Freedom" on a global scale.
The dynamism and speed with which the communication measures you are in charge of are directly communicated to customers through approximately 400 stores in Japan and overseas, mass promotions, outdoor advertising, etc. is a very rewarding environment.
Job Description is subject to change within the scope of work related to each department of the headquarters as a result of departmental transfers and organizational changes.

Qualifications
Required Experience, Skills and Abilities
The candidate must share the vision and brand message of GU and Fast Retailing, and have experience in one or more of the following.
Experience in marketing or brand management at an operating company
Experience in marketing, communication and planning as an AE at an advertising agency
Experience in a full range of product planning, development, and sales promotion at a business company
Experience in editing and producing fashion-related magazines and digital content
■Welcome experience, skills and abilities
Business level English skills or TOEIC score of 700 or above

■Annual salary range
7.2 million to 10.26 million yen (monthly salary: 450,000 to 570,000 yen)
Allowance: Commuting allowance, overtime allowance depending on grade
Bonuses: Semiannual bonus twice a year, year-end bonus (payment or not and amount to be determined based on company performance and personnel evaluation)
Promotion: Twice a year (determined according to personnel evaluation)
(Not limited to the above, but will be determined in accordance with our company's regulations based on annual salary and experience in previous jobs.
