Department Overview
We plan to hire for the Product Marketing Team within the Marketing Department. In this role, you will conduct marketing development in tandem with product development, translating product value into concepts, visuals, and content, and creating and disseminating these as marketing assets that resonate globally.You will also plan and execute marketing strategies based on a consistent narrative, spanning from branding to in-store promotions.

Job Description
At GU, designers, merchandisers (MDs), and marketing staff in each category—such as Women’s, Men’s, and Kids’—form a single team to handle everything from product development to the marketing that delivers products to customers. You will be responsible for everything from strategy formulation to execution, incorporating both the perspectives of retail marketing—which drives day-to-day business—and brand marketing—which aims to establish the brand’s position over the medium to long term—and lead the business growth of your assigned category. Specifically, the following duties are anticipated:- Planning and executing seasonal strategies for your assigned category
- Collaborating with merchandisers and designers to design business strategies and drive sales promotions
- Translating product value into information that resonates with customers and developing visual content
- Planning, production direction, and project management for TV commercials, web content, social media, in-store promotions, and more
- Designing and managing cross-channel communications across multiple platforms, including stores, e-commerce, and advertising
- Executing and refining marketing initiatives aimed at creating hit products
- Team leadership and management based on experience

Qualifications
Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
In addition to management experience, candidates must have experience in one of the following areas- Experience in marketing or brand management at a business company, particularly in the consumer goods sector (approximately 5 years or more)
- Experience in marketing, communications, and planning as an account executive at an advertising agency
- Experience overseeing the entire process—from product planning and development to sales promotion—at a business company
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
- Business-level English proficiency or a TOEIC score of 700 or higher
- At least 5 years of experience in editing and producing fashion-related magazines and digital content
- Candidates with experience working at a global brand’s headquarters (HQ) are especially welcome
