Outline of the department
The mission of the Product Marketing Department, to which you will be assigned, is to conduct marketing development simultaneously with product development, to create marketing assets that can be used globally, including concepts, visuals, and content, and to develop and execute marketing plans that can be used globally, with a narrative from branding to in-store sales promotion measures. The mission of the Marketing Department is to develop and execute marketing plans that have a story to tell from branding to in-store sales promotions, and that can be used worldwide.

Job Description
The successful candidate will work closely with management to develop product marketing strategies, implement measures, and lead the brand building process at GU, which is in the midst of growth with the goal of becoming a global fashion brand from Japan. The company is unique in that each category (women's, men's, kids, etc.) has a single team of product development designers, MDs, and marketing staff, who promote everything from product development to marketing to customers. While being in charge of several categories, you will lead the following tasks as a category marketing manager.
Develop marketing strategies for each category throughout the season, and lead the execution of these strategies.
Develop GU's brand image and customer acquisition strategy, and supervise the overall creative production of visuals and content development in collaboration with internal and external creators. (TV commercials, Web sites, in-store sales promotion materials, creation of key visuals and lookbooks, production of editorial content, etc.)
Formulate and execute mid-term branding initiatives to realize GU's brand message "Your Freedom" on a global scale.
Depending on your experience, you may also be asked to manage a team.

In addition to 480 stores in Japan and overseas, all media used by GU, such as mass promotions and outdoor advertisements, are targeted, so you can easily feel the dynamism of the communication measures you are in charge of, which are directly and quickly communicated to customers.

Qualifications

Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
Experience in marketing and brand management at a business company or advertising agency (5 years or more)
Experience in project management and member management

■Welcome experience, skills, and abilities
Business level English skills or TOEIC score of 700 or above
(Please mention your experience of studying abroad or using English in business when you apply)
Experience working at HQ (headquarters) of a global brand is especially welcome.

Employment Type
Full-time employee (no fixed term, probationary period (3 months))

■Annual Income
Annual salary range: 1.26 million yen - 1.62 million yen (670,000 yen - 900,000 yen per month)
Allowance: Commuting allowance, overtime allowance depending on grade
Bonuses: Semiannual bonus twice a year, year-end bonus (whether or not to be paid and the amount will be decided according to the company's performance and personnel evaluation)
Promotion: Twice a year (decided according to personnel evaluation)

Working Hours
Flextime system or management supervisor
Flexible working hours: 8 hours per day, 1 hour break, core hours 9:00-14:00, flexible hours 6:00-9:00, 14:00-20:00, with overtime.
