Job Description
■Background of Recruitment
Fast Retailing Group is expanding and evolving its e-commerce business by bringing together employees from all over the world to create a new kind of shopping experience that customers really want. To be the first in the world to realize this basic business principle, we will provide a new purchasing experience in stores and EC by gaining a deep understanding of our customers' needs. In this position, you will lead the evolution of UNIQLO's EC business in Japan and, in the future, the promotion of the EC business globally.
■Department Overview
The Japan Digital Commerce Department, to which you will be assigned, will be responsible for the EC business from strategic planning to execution, analyzing market trends and planning product strategies, positioning the EC business as the "largest global flagship store. We aim to achieve accelerated business growth by promoting the development of new product opportunities based on customer feedback.
■Duties
As a product planner for UNIQLO's EC business, you will be responsible for creating business plans, planning and executing measures.
Analyze market trends and customer needs, and create business plans (production plans, sales plans, inventory plans, and sales plans) for your area of responsibility.
Optimize inventory management and formulate sales strategies based on sales performance and demand forecasts to contribute to customer satisfaction and maximize sales.
Promote strategic initiatives to achieve sales targets in cooperation with related departments (marketing/production/warehouse/inventory control/customer center)
Support business growth in the countries in which we operate by educating and training overseas EC staff.

After working in UNIQLO's Japanese operations, you will be expected to work in overseas operations or other brands. The following are examples of past employees.
Example 1: Joined UNIQLO in 2020. After working on inventory management and product planning for the Japan EC business, he was assigned to support overseas business at the global headquarters for about a year.
Case 2: Joined the company in 2017. From 2021, he will be posted to India as the EC business launch manager.

Required Knowledge/Experience/Abilities
Experience in leading business transformation of the company and its clients with an emphasis on the client's perspective.
Experience in identifying essential issues based on numerical results, and logically considering and implementing measures
Experience in taking a leadership role, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and strongly promoting projects
Japanese: Business level or higher (JLPT N2 or higher), used daily for internal discussions and document preparation
■Welcome experience, skills and abilities
Experience in MD and inventory control in an apparel/retail company
English: Business level or above (TOEIC 700 or above); verbal communication skills are especially important
