The development areas we envision for in-house development engineers are as follows. Since we manage the entire fashion business process in-house and develop systems end-to-end, there are a wide range of opportunities for you to contribute as the company grows globally.

・E-commerce Backend Engineer
You will be involved in the design, development, and global deployment of our e-commerce platform suite, built using a microservices architecture.

・DevOps Engineer
You will be involved in the orchestration and operation of containerized applications using Kubernetes, as well as the construction and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to drive the automation of code deployment and testing.

・E-commerce Frontend Engineer (Web)
You will be involved in the design, development, and global deployment of e-commerce frontends built using React/Redux.

・Mobile Development Engineer (App)
You will be involved in the design, development, and global deployment of e-commerce frontends for iOS and Android.

・UI/UX Engineer (Web/App)
You will be involved in the design, development, and expansion of UI/UX components built using React and Flutter.

・Global Core System Development Engineer
You will primarily be involved in the development and operation of systems aimed at advancing production, logistics, and delivery processes, such as supply chain and automated warehouses. You will also be responsible for the development and operation of core systems utilizing SAP products (S/4 HANA Finance, CAR, PI, etc.).

・Generative AI/Machine Learning Engineer
You will lead the development of generative AI and ML systems in collaboration with business owners for systems in areas such as e-commerce, supply chain, product planning, business automation, and customer service centers.

・Data Integration & ETL Development Engineer
You will be involved in building and expanding systems for global inter-company data integration and data connectivity implemented in the cloud.

・Data Lake Development Engineer
You will be involved in the design and development of data lakes and data integration systems that centrally manage the Fast Retailing Group’s big data.

・Fast Retailing Common Global Infrastructure Development Engineer
You will be involved in the in-house development of company-wide common services deployed on the cloud—such as batch processing platforms, data integration platforms, and authentication/authorization platforms—as well as the deployment of these developed products into business applications.

■Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・All of the following are required
- 5+ years of programming experience (Java, JavaScript, Go, Python, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in basic system design, detailed design, and testing
- At least 3 years of system operations experience
・Someone who approaches problems with sincerity, maintains a positive attitude, possesses a strong sense of responsibility, and thinks flexibly
・Logical thinking. Ability to understand intentions and context beyond language barriers and guide problem-solving
・Experience in organizational or project management, or in mentoring subordinates or junior colleagues
・Someone who can proactively engage in a work environment where English is used on a daily basis. *Fluency is not required at this stage. We provide an environment where you can learn through actual work and support to help you become comfortable with English.

・Development and operational experience with APIs, batch processing, and similar technologies in a B2C environment
・Experience building and operating business systems in the fashion/apparel industry or e-commerce
・Experience using major cloud providers such as AWS and GCP
・Leadership experience as an engineer in a multinational team
・Experience building commonly used and general-purpose frameworks and libraries
・Experience building and operating large-scale web services
・Experience in building and operating supply chain systems, including production and logistics
・Experience developing and operating systems in collaboration with external partners and system integrators
・Knowledge of automation technologies such as continuous integration and continuous deployment
・Experience with and understanding of testing methodologies and quality control
・Experience with Agile development
・Experience developing distributed systems, highly concurrent systems, and high-availability systems

・Annual Salary Range: 6.56–21.24 million yen (Monthly Salary: 410,000–1,180,000 yen)
