The Fast Retailing (hereinafter “FR”) Group is undergoing a company-wide transformation to create a “new industry” based on the concept of “LifeWear,” which transcends traditional industry boundaries. We are seeking a candidate to serve as the Diversity Promotion Lead at GHQ (Global Headquarters) who can drive the development of organizational structures and a culture that enable a more diverse workforce to fully utilize their abilities.

■Department Overview
As the FR Group’s Global Headquarters (GHQ), the Japan headquarters is tasked with strongly driving the global business growth of the FR Group and its brands, which span 25 countries worldwide (as of October 2020).
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting diversity across the entire FR Group. This involves collaborating with various departments within GHQ and with our international operations to implement projects focused on women’s advancement, LGBTQ+ inclusion, and accessibility for people with disabilities, as well as communicating these initiatives both internally and externally.

・Planning, executing, and promoting diversity strategies within the FR Group
・Fostering an understanding of diversity within the company to cultivate a more diverse culture
・Formulating policies and frameworks to promote diversity in each region and country, as well as identifying relevant initiatives and providing advice
・Conducting internal and external public relations activities

■ Required Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Individuals who have been involved in transformation projects in roles such as diversity promotion, sustainability promotion, or human resources at a business company or consulting firm
・Individuals who can approach problem-solving from the same perspective as executives and drive change as key contributors
・Individuals with excellent judgment who can respect each employee on the front lines while pursuing an ideal vision

■Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities
・Management or practical experience and knowledge related to diversity promotion
・Strong communication skills for internal and external coordination
・Practical experience in human resources or training
・TOEIC score of 800 or higher, or the ability to communicate in English without difficulty in a business setting
・International experience, knowledge, and understanding of multiculturalism are a plus

■Annual Salary　
・Annual Salary Range: 7.04–18.00 million yen (Monthly Salary: 440,000–1,000,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (※All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)

Flexible work hours or managerial/supervisory position

Standard daily working hours: 8 hours; Break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Flexible hours…6:00 AM–9:00 AM and 2:00 PM–8:00 PM (Overtime work may occur)

Based on the working hours of the employee’s department, with the decision left to the employee

■ Holidays and Leave
Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays; national holidays are working days) Annual paid leave, special leave (including bereavement leave), childcare and nursing care leave systems, etc.
*In addition to paid leave, special leave is granted in the first and second halves of the fiscal year (the number of days granted varies depending on employment status and the company to which the employee belongs)
