Job Description

■Recruitment Background
Having achieved 3 trillion yen in revenue, we view this current phase as our “Fourth Founding” and aim to reach 10 trillion yen in revenue, becoming the brand most loved by customers worldwide and the company most needed by society.
To achieve these goals, it is essential that we break away from past practices and create new business models and ways of working. This requires a fundamental reevaluation of our organizational structure and a significant raising of the standards we expect from our employees. Fast Retailing’s HR department is now called upon not only to conceptualize these changes but also to engage stakeholders, put them into practice, and drive organizational transformation.
We are seeking individuals who can join us in driving structural and organizational/human resources transformations—unbound by precedent—not only in Japan but across countries and regions worldwide.

■Job Overview
As the Global Headquarters (GHQ), our Japan headquarters is tasked with strongly driving the global business growth of the FR Group and its various brands, which operate approximately 3,600 stores across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Furthermore, to advance company-wide transformation, we must continuously evolve the “people”—who serve as the driving force—as well as the “organizational structure and framework.”
In this recruitment, we are specifically seeking candidates to engage in work related to “global transformation of people and organizations.” Rather than being limited to specific tasks or roles, we expect you to address organizational and personnel challenges with an executive’s perspective and vision, driving the process from problem definition to resolution in a seamless, end-to-end manner.

■Specific Job Description
We anticipate assigning you to tasks such as those described below. Specifically, you will be assigned to a team and drive transformation through hands-on work. Your assigned team and mission will be determined during the selection process, taking your preferences and career aspirations into account.
・As an HR Business Partner, lead global organizational strengthening and talent development to realize company-wide and business strategies
・As a global HR manager, lead the planning, operational design, and on-the-ground implementation of optimal HR systems at a global level
・Lead global HR transformation projects (BPR, offshoring, and shared services)
・As a recruiter, lead the entire process—from planning to execution—to attract top talent from Japan and abroad who will drive this transformation

・Individuals who can solve problems as a key driver of change, sharing the same perspective as executives
・As an HR professional, you possess the integrity to engage directly with employees from diverse backgrounds and build trusting relationships
・Individuals with a balanced perspective who understand both the executive’s viewpoint and the employee’s perspective, and who can independently make sound judgments and execute them

■Desirable Skills and Experience
・Experience driving problem-solving in roles such as corporate planning or business planning at a business company
・Experience driving solutions to management challenges for client companies at a consulting firm
・TOEIC score of 700 or higher

Full-time employee (permanent position, with a 3-month probationary period)

■Annual Salary
・Annual Salary Range: 7.2–20 million yen (Monthly Salary: 450,000–1,000,000 yen)
・Allowances: Commuting allowance, overtime pay, etc. (*All subject to company regulations)
・Bonuses: Semi-annual bonuses twice a year, year-end bonus (eligibility and amount determined based on company performance and performance evaluations)
・Promotions twice a year (determined based on performance evaluations)
*Salary will be determined based on company regulations, taking into account your previous annual income and experience, and is not limited to the figures listed above.

■ Working Hours
Flexible work hours or managerial/supervisory position
・Flexible work schedule
Standard daily working hours: 8 hours; Break: 1 hour
Core hours: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Flexible hours…6:00–9:00 and 14:00–20:00; overtime work may occur

・Supervisors
Based on the working hours of the employee’s department; left to the employee’s discretion

■ Days Off and Leave
Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays; national holidays are considered workdays) Annual paid leave, special leave and bereavement leave, childcare and family care leave systems, etc.
*In addition to paid leave, special leave is granted in the first and second halves of the fiscal year (the number of days granted varies depending on employment status and the company to which the employee belongs)
