Introduction
Team
The Digital Business Reform Department, in line with the SPA (specialty retailer of private-label apparel) business model, is implementing system innovation and business reforms related to the entire process from production at the factory to delivery to the customer. Within the department, there are several teams divided by area, and each team has its own mission. We have established a system that allows us to look at the whole picture across the board while working together with each other. In addition, the Information Security Office functions across teams to promote robust system construction.
デジタル業務改革部では、SPA（製造小売業）のビジネスモデルに則し、工場で生産されてからお客様のお手元に届くまでに関わるシステム刷新と業務改革を実行しています。部門の中でも領域別に複数のチームに分け、各チームがミッションを持っており、それぞれ連携しながら横断的に全体を見渡せる体制を整えています。また各チームに跨る形で情報セキュリティ室（Information Security Office）を機能させ、堅牢なシステム構築を推進しております。
E-commerce
The E-commerce team strives towards realizing the company vision of becoming a Digital Consumer Retail Company. The team plays a pivotal role in the transformation and digitalization of the organization across numerous pillars through a number of IT/software projects which target multiple locations around the world. The group brings to life the online shopping experience of the company with leading edge end-to-end retail systems that have an impact on the company turnover.

Eコマース

Enterprise/Infrastructure
The primary mission of the Enterprise/Infrastructure team is to create simple, stable, secure, and fast-growing architecture that can support the company’s business growth. An additional mission is to build a fast and reliable deployment pipeline that provides stable continuous delivery in collaborating with DevOps.

Store IT & RFID(Radio Frequency Identification)
The Store IT & RFID team is committed to make the brick-and-mortar stores of the Fast Retailing Group an exciting place for customers to visit and employees to work. The customer experience at these stores is evolving at a rapid pace thanks to the use of digital technologies in self-checkout cashiers and the RFID inventory management system.

店舗IT＆RFIDチームは、ファーストリテイリング（FR）グループの店舗が、お客様が訪れる場所としても従業員が働く場所としても、常に最新で感動のある場所となるよう取り組んでいます。実店舗でのお客様の購買体験は、セルフレジやRFID在庫管理システムなどのデジタルテクノロジーを活用することで急速に進化しています。
IT Security
The mission of the IT Security team is to achieve a firm information security system by establishing both the system and rules to protect confidential information, including customer data, and to maximize company sales by providing a reliable environment for shopping and preventing confidential Fast Retailing Group information from being divulged.

VCP (Value Creation Planning)
Accelerating the digitalization of product development and improving business processes is at the heart of the VCP team. This group creates highly demanded products and maximizes sales by providing customers with the right product, at the right place, the right time, and in the right quantity.

製品開発のデジタル化を加速させることと、ビジネスプロセスの改善がVCPチームの中心となっています。VCPチームは、お客様に最適な製品を適切な場所で、適切な時に、適切な量で提供することにより、需要の高い製品を生み出し、売上を最大化します。
SCM (Supply Chain Management)
The SCM team is responsible for business process transformation and system development in the areas of planning, production, logistics, and inventory control to able to deliver the right products, at the right place and the right time.

ITSO (IT Strategy Office)
The IT Strategy Office can be considered the ‘glue’ that helps hold the other teams together, from identifying project and organizational problem areas, to managing budgets, risks and finances, as well as handling such activities as large-scale meetings, conferences, and the like. This group is very versatile and multi-faceted, and normally jumps in to find solutions to issues that cannot be easily handled by other teams.
IT戦略室（ITSO）
IT戦略室は、プロジェクト・組織の問題点の特定から、予算・リスクと財務の管理、さらには大規模な会議、カンファレンスなどの対応も担っています。このチームの業務は非常に幅広く、多面的な業務に対応しており、他のチームでは、簡単に対処できない問題の解決にも関わっています。
Data Engineering
The vision of the Data Engineering team is to store easily discoverable and accessible data safely, to ensure the delivery of reliable data in the core domain is achieved at a reasonable cost, and to establish solid partnership with analysts and data scientists.
