Procedure 01

Self-reporting 自己申告制度

We help joiners to develop their careers through our in-house Career Challenge Program. In addition, we established what we call the ‘Self-reporting,’ whereby employees tell us their vision of how they wish to proceed with their careers so that we can assist them to explore new opportunities for the future. Both the Career Challenge Program and Self-reporting are conducted every six months. There are various ways to challenge oneself at Fast Retailing, including being transferred to offices abroad or one of our Group companies, and from stores to headquarters and vice-versa, depending on the individual’s area of interest.

Evaluation 評価制度

Fast Retailing has clear evaluation criteria for each position with precise objectives, goals and levels of achievements, the evaluation serves to help train employees while encouraging growth.

Four Features of Evaluation

  • Six-month Review 期間は6ヶ月間

    The supervisor evaluates and provides feedback on daily tasks every six months.

    日頃の業務に対しての上司からの評価・フィードバックを6ヶ月ごとに実施します

  • Setting Appropriate Targets 個々人に応じた目標設定

    All employees meet with their supervisor to discuss and set targets best suited for their skills and competency level.

    上司と話し合い個々人のレベルにあった目標を設定します

  • Evaluation Criteria = Achievement Level + α 評価基準は達成度+α

    In addition to achievements, the process involved in setting objectives is also evaluated.

  • Development Through Evaluation Cycle 評価サイクルを通じた人材育成

    The appropriate involvement of supervisors in the evaluation cycle - setting targets → execution → evaluation - is crucial for employee development.

Semi-annual Bonus 決算賞与

Fast Retailing believes that employees are entitled to a share of the profits earned by the company. Hence, we offer a semi-annual bonus that is based on the company's financial status at the time, the evaluation grade of the employee and their degree of contribution to the business.
