Editorial Policy

CSR Reports are published by Fast Retailing Co., Ltd. for stakeholders. They describe in a succinct manner the social and environmental responsibilities associated with the Fast Retailing Group's business, along with its corporate policies and efforts to fulfill those responsibilities. CSR Report 2016 is organized into four key challenges that reflect a global perspective, dialogue with experts, and studies with stakeholders. The initiatives and frameworks that address those challenges are outlined therein.

Fast Retailing promotes additional dialogue with the stakeholders through the CSR Reports to meet expectations, generate awareness, and address concerns.

In fiscal 2015 Fast Retailing began reporting its CSR efforts-in the CSR Reports and on the Company website-in accordance to the core elements of the Global Reporting Initiative's G4 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines.

Report Coverage

The report covers Fast Retailing Group (Fast Retailing Co., Ltd., and its companies in Japan and overseas) CSR activities, with individual articles introducing activities outside the Fast Retailing Group.

Reporting Period

September 1, 2014, to August 31, 2015.
