Thank You Recycling As a token of gratitude towards our customers
UNIQLO has always had a strong reputation for being involved in the entire process of product development from planning, manufacture through retail. And so we have always felt a keen responsibility to help facilitate the reuse of UNIQLO products that our customers no longer wear. We began a collection and recycling service for used UNIQLO fleeces in August 2001. We then expanded the scope for recycling to include all UNIQLO garments and conducted a one-month recycling trial in September 2006. As a result, we judged there was a need to offer a regular service, and we decided to provide a regular recycling operation each year during the months of March and September.
