Uniqlo is an official partner of the headquarter of Special Olympics Nippon.
Special Olympics (SO) is an international sporting organization that provides persons with intellectual disabilities with opportunities to partake in sporting activities and holds tournaments where they can display their sporting skills.
Since 2002, UNIQLO has been an official partner of the headquarters of SO in Japan (SO Nippon). UNIQLO has donated uniforms to volunteers and supported the running of sporting events.

Winter National Games, Yamagata
We donated 3,000 uniforms for volunteers at the Special Olympics National Games in Yamagata in March 7 to 9 2008. 30 employees will volunteer as staff.
